Accountant for Eyewear Distributor

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Accountant to manage our daily financial activities and ensure smooth operation of accounting tasks. Candidates must have strong experience in Tally and Microsoft Excel—these are mandatory requirements.

Knowledge of sunglasses/opticals, eyewear inventory, or experience handling large inventory systems will be considered an added advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

• Prepare proforma invoices, sales invoices, and related financial documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting entries using Tally Prime.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Handle VAT filing, tax calculations, and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliation, customer/vendor reconciliation, and maintain ledgers.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

Inventory & Coordination

• Support inventory tracking and ensure accuracy when coordinating with the store and logistics team.
• Assist with reports related to inventory movement and costing.
• Maintain structured records for eyewear stock (experience with big inventories is a plus).

Administration & Reporting

• Prepare Excel reports and financial summaries when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers regarding invoice or payment queries.
• Ensure all documentation is updated and properly filed.

Requirements

• Mandatory: Strong experience in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience handling large inventories is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge related to sunglasses, opticals, or eyewear is an added bonus.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Female candidates preferred, but open to all who meet the requirements.
• Prior UAE accounting experience preferred.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
