Accountant — General / Senior Accountant

Job Overview: Whisper Point Eco is seeking a skilled Accountant — General / Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable insights to support our eco-friendly initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and collections.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in tax preparation and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on general accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

Hourly rate between QAR 60 - 120, based on experience.
