Accountant – Gold Manufacturing Industry

We are hiring an experienced Accountant with a proven background in the gold, jewellery, or precious‑metals manufacturing sector. This role requires strong financial discipline, accuracy, and a deep understanding of gold‑specific accounting processes, including weight reconciliation, wastage control, and high‑value inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations for gold manufacturing activities
• Handle gold inventory accounting, weight reconciliation, and movement tracking
• Record purchases, production entries, sales, and returns with precision
• Monitor gold wastage, recovery, and variance reports
• Prepare financial statements, cost reports, and management summaries
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and audit teams
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, gold‑handling protocols, and company policies
• Support external audits with accurate documentation and reconciliations

Requirements

• Mandatory: Minimum 3–6 years of accounting experience in a gold/jewellery factory or precious‑metals environment
• Strong understanding of gold inventory accounting, purity calculations, and weight‑based costing
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP experience preferred)
• High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
