Accountant (GST Specialist)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting operations along with handling taxation-related compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in TDS, GST Return Filing, Form 9C Filing, and strong working knowledge of Tally Prime. Coordination with external CAs and consultants will also be part of the role.

Key Responsibilities: Day-to-Day Accounting:

• Record all financial transactions in Tally Prime.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy in records.

Taxation & Compliance:

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Prepare and file Form 9C (GST Audit Report) as per statutory deadlines.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and accounting standards.
• Reconcile tax payments and ensure timely payment of dues.

Audit & CA Co-ordination:

• Liaise with external Chartered Accountants for audits, filings, and compliance.
• Assist in statutory audit, internal audit, and GST audit processes.
• Prepare and organize financial data for audit reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, M.Com).
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting and taxation experience.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, 9C Filing, and general taxation.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
• Good communication and coordination skills (especially with CAs, auditors, and vendors).
