Accountant - Gurugram

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and statutory regulations. The role requires hands-on experience in Tally for bookkeeping and reporting, along with exposure to invoicing, payroll, tax filings, and other financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records in Tally, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and manage billing operations.
• Assist in payroll preparation and employee-related financial transactions.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, expense reports, and ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
• Support direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST filings and related documentation
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of statutory compliance and audits.
• Monitor daily transactions and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support financial reporting and analysis to management.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal teams for smooth financial operations.
• Suggest improvements in accounting processes and systems.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tally is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
