This position will assist department and senior accounting personnel with routine Accounting tasks and duties. The Accountant I will provide specialized or general analysis support in various accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Investments, ATM Settlements, reimbursing Corporate Credit cards, and reimbursing employee expenses, GL Reconciliations, Journal entries, End of month processing, Financial statements/reporting, General Accounting, Corporate Checks and the like. The accountant will also assist with the daily balancing and reconciling of Branch GL’s and activity such as vault and teller drawers so prior experience and/or knowledge of Financial Institutions is preferred.
