Accountant II

To manage and support core accounting activities, including daily Fintech transactions, reconciliations, customer settlements, revenue and cost analysis, Accounts Payable (A/P), and financial reporting—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.


Key Accountabilities
  • Supervise day-to-day financial accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor and validate prepaid and accrual accounts, asset tracking, amortization, and depreciation
  • Record and reconcile payroll transactions, ensuring accurate reflection in the accounting system and alignment with payroll reports
  • Prepare reports required by ZATCA and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Manage and guide accounting assistants and bookkeepers to ensure smooth workflow and timely task execution
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial-related needs and initiatives
  • Prepare financial statements and reports in line with business objectives and regulatory standards
  • Review current accounting practices and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist in automating accounting operations to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance function


Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related fields
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years of working experience in Fintech is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • This is a 100% office job
  • The job holder is to perform their duties in the office as it requires communication with employees at all levels
