Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Finance:

  • Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable and daily cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on payments.

2. Jewellery-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage gold, diamond, and gemstone stock entries and adjustments.
  • Track purity, weight, and wastage for gold and other precious metals.
  • Record labour charges, making charges, and repair costs.
  • Coordinate with stores for stock audits and inventory verification.

3. VAT & Compliance:

  • Prepare VAT reports and ensure timely filing.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain documentation for audits.

4. Internal Coordination:

  • Work closely with purchasing, sales, and store teams.
  • Support management with data for decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing MIS reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the jewellery industry (gold/diamond).
  • Strong knowledge of stock management for jewellery.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Good understanding of VAT rules in UAE.
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of jewellery purity, weight calculations, and wastage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
