Job Summary

Green Team Renovation is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Account Manager to oversee the financial and administrative health of our company. Unlike a traditional sales role, this position focuses on the general accounting and financial operations of the entire business. You will be responsible for managing company expenses, tracking receipts, and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate records of all company financial transactions, including daily expenses and operational costs.
  • Expense Tracking: Collect, verify, and log receipts from site teams and office operations to ensure budget compliance.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage outgoing payments to suppliers/subcontractors and track incoming payments from clients.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly or monthly reports for management regarding cash flow, expenditures, and profit margins.
  • Documentation: Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems for all invoices, contracts, and financial documents.
  • Payroll Support: Assist in processing staff payments and verifying attendance or expense reimbursements.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office management (experience within the construction or renovation industry is a plus).
  • Accounting Skills: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
  • Detail Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and the ability to spot discrepancies in financial documents.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software (like QuickBooks or Zoho Books), Microsoft Excel, and general office management tools.
  • Communication: Clear professional communication skills for interacting with management and vendors.
