YOUR ROLE: EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT
We’re seeking an Experienced Accountant to manage core accounting operations. In this part-time role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
- Process day-to-day transactions, including vendor bills, employee reimbursements, sales entries, and petty cash
- Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and reconcile accounts regularly
- Ensure all financial documentation is properly filed, stored, and easily retrievable for audits or reviews
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Generate MIS reports to support leadership with decision-making
- Highlight anomalies, risks, or red flags in financial reports and suggest corrective actions
3. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Management
- Perform timely reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card transactions, and loan statements
- Monitor cash flow regularly to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
- Coordinate with the finance team to optimize payment cycles and vendor settlements
4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle monthly and quarterly filings for GST, TDS, and other tax obligations
- Prepare supporting documentation for tax assessments and audits
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and central statutory requirements
- Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and ensure timely adaptation of processes
5. Internal Controls & Audit Readiness
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required reports, schedules, and reconciliations
- Identify areas of improvement in internal controls and suggest process enhancements
- Maintain clean and transparent records to ensure audit readiness at all times
6. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth flow of financial data
- Assist in onboarding vendors and partners from a financial documentation perspective
- Communicate effectively with banks, auditors, and external consultants when required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience (minimum 2 years to 05 years)
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel; knowledge of Zoho Books is a plus
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Someone who’s organized, detail-focused, and dependable
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently

ELIGIBILITY
- Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent
- Experience: 02 to 05years of relevant accounting experience
- Languages: English (mandatory), Tamil (preferred)
