Accountant & Payroll Officer

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant & Payroll Officer to manage the company’s financial operations, taxation compliance, payroll administration, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare supplier payments and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage cash flow reporting and financial analysis.
  • Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Maintain proper documentation and financial records for audits and compliance purposes.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
  • Handle Corporate Tax registration, compliance, and filing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and stay updated on legislative changes.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
  • Maintain all supporting schedules and documentation required for audits and tax inspections.

Payroll Administration

  • Process monthly payroll and salary transfers.
  • Prepare end-of-service benefit calculations.
  • Manage payroll records, employee deductions, overtime, commissions, and leave balances.
  • Coordinate WPS-related requirements and salary processing.
  • Ensure payroll records are accurate and maintained confidentially.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of UAE accounting experience.
  • Proven experience handling UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
  • Experience in payroll processing and WPS requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, F&B, or multi-company operations.
  • Experience dealing with government portals and regulatory compliance, including FTA, MOHRE, WPS, and other relevant UAE authorities.
  • Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law as it relates to payroll administration and employee benefits.
  • Experience coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government entities.

  • Accounting: 3 years (Required)
