Accountant & Procurement Officer

Medical Center is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to handle accounting and procurement tasks, ensuring smooth financial and operational processes while maintaining full compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance:

Record all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

File tax returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations (VAT and Corporate Tax).

Prepare payroll and related settlements.

Coordinate with auditors, insurance providers, and external stakeholders as needed.

Organize accounting documents and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

Support monthly closing processes and assist in financial reporting and analysis.

Procurement:

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.

Record procurement payments and petty cash transactions.

Follow up on vendor payments and update accounts payable records.

Negotiate with suppliers, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and allocated budgets.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and procurement, preferably in the medical field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
