Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to be a key part of a fast-growing luxury renovation company? Primo Dubai is expanding, and we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant / Purchasing & Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team.

This role combines core accounting responsibilities with purchasing and procurement functions, supporting day-to-day financial operations and supplier management. We are looking for an organised candidate who can introduce new systems and processes for purchasing, material requisition and order placements. The ideal candidate will manage all day to day accounting and record keeping, oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for ongoing and upcoming projects.

This role requires strong negotiation skills, excellent supplier relationship management, and the ability to ensure timely delivery of quality materials at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and experienced within the UAE construction/fit-out supply market.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
  • Assist with VAT calculations, filings, and compliance
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required
  • MUST be familiar with Zoho books

Procurement & Purchasing

  • Source, select, and purchase materials, tools, equipment, and services required for renovation and fit-out projects.
  • Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality.
  • Issue purchase orders and track order confirmations, delivery schedules, and invoices.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, and storekeepers to ensure accurate material requirements.

Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery conditions, and long-term agreements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, reliability, and service.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to improve flexibility, cost savings, and material availability.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential items.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure smooth material delivery to project sites.
  • Resolve any material shortages, delays, or non-compliance issues quickly.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable supply chain to support project timelines.

Cost Control & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, price lists, and supplier databases.
  • Monitor material costs and highlight cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support budgeting by providing material cost forecasts and procurement schedules.
  • Ensure all documentation meets company policies and audit requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

✨ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

✨ Minimum 2 years' of experience in purchasing/procurement in a UAE construction, fit-out, or MEP company.

✨ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.

✨ Experience handling purchasing, supplier coordination, and cost control

✨ Excellent negotiation, communication skills, and numeracy skills.

✨ Strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.

✨ Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.

✨ Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

✨ Valid UAE driving licence preferred.

✅ Bi-lingual, speaking Hindi is preferable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
