Accountant (Retail Store & E-Commerce Operations)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage both retail shop accounting and e-commerce financial operations. The ideal candidate should be experienced in handling daily bookkeeping, online sales reconciliation, inventory accounting, and financial reporting across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting for retail shop operations
• Handle e-commerce accounting (Amazon, Noon, Shopify, etc.)
• Reconcile online sales, payments, and commissions
• Maintain accurate inventory and cost of goods tracking
• Prepare monthly financial reports and P&L statements
• Manage VAT records and compliance (UAE regulations)
• Handle supplier payments and receivables
• Work closely with operations and sales teams
• Ensure proper bookkeeping using accounting software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (retail or e-commerce preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho Books preferred)
• Experience with UAE VAT filing is a plus
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Noon, Shopify) is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently
