Accountant - Senior

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closing activities.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and expense management.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial processes.
• Support management in financial decision-making through data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / ERP software (as applicable).
• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing a small accounting team.
• Exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
