Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Accountant to manage financial and operational accounting activities of our Total Petrol Pump. The ideal candidate must be skilled in bookkeeping, cash and credit handling, sales reporting, inventory management, and reconciliation of fuel and shop transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate daily cash and credit sales records.
  • Manage fuel transactions, meter readings, and stock reconciliation on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts ledgers and financial statements.
  • Record tuck shop and other point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Verify supplier bills, purchase orders, and payment records.
  • Ensure timely deposit of cash into the bank.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales & expense reports.
  • Coordinate with management on budgeting, audits, and accounts compliance.
  • Maintain proper documentation and follow company accounting SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: B.Com / BBA / or relevant accounting degree (M.Com preferred).
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience (Fuel Station / Retail experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliations.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Honest, professional, punctual, and reliable.
