Role overview: We are urgently hiring a skilled Accountant with strong experience working with UK clients, particularly within Xero. This role is critical, as you will directly manage accounting operations for an important UK account. Accuracy, accountability, and reliability are essential.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing VAT submissions, bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable management using Xero. Strong communication skills are required, alongside the ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Requirements:

Essential Must-Haves

• 1.5+ years of experience working with UK clients or in an accounting practice serving UK markets
• Strong, hands-on experience with Xero (VAT, bookkeeping, payroll, AP)
• Good understanding of UK accounting workflows and terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Full-time, office-based availability

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UK e-commerce accounting
• Familiarity with Deputy, Dext, Mintsoft, LinkMyBooks
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
