We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with logistics industry experience to manage financial records, oversee logistics-related transactions, and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge along with an understanding of logistics operations such as freight, shipping, inventory, and supplier payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Record and monitor logistics-related expenses, freight charges, customs duties, and transportation costs.
- Prepare and process supplier payments, invoices, and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and logistics service provider statements.
- Track and analyze shipping, freight, and warehousing costs.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting related to logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and maintain proper documentation for logistics transactions.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to verify shipments, invoices, and payment records.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required financial documentation.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
