  • Manage and report on the company's financial information, including bookkeeping, financial statements, and budgets.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping and record-keeping:
  • Record daily transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger and other accounting databases.
  • Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Financial reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
  • Compile and present financial reports to management.
  • Reconciliation and compliance:
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Tax and payroll:
  • Prepare and file tax returns.
  • Process payroll and manage expense reimbursements.
  • Analysis and forecasting:
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist with financial forecasting and risk analysis.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with management and clients.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
