Accountant with Restaurants Accounts Experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations for restaurant. The ideal candidate must have prior UAE experience in the food and beverage sector and be familiar with restaurant accounting procedures, inventory control, and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily accounting records, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and POS sales.
• Monitor and control petty cash and daily cash collections from outlets.
• Manage payroll, staff advances, and overtime calculations.
• Oversee inventory and stock control processes in coordination with the storekeeper and purchasing team.
• Ensure accurate VAT recording and assist with filing VAT returns as per UAE tax law.
• Assist in budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate with auditors and management for periodic reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and adhere to accounting policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a UAE-based restaurant or F&B company.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
• Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, reports, data analysis).
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
