Teza Doors & Windows is one of the fastest-growing manufacturers and distributors of premium aluminum doors and windows in California. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at our Van Nuys headquarters. This position will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and supporting the company's continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, merchant accounts, and company transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management
- Process and review customer payments, refunds, and chargebacks
- Manage sales tax reporting and compliance
- Work closely with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost accounting
- Reconcile inventory transactions between QuickBooks Online (QBO) and SOS Inventory
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Support external CPA and auditors during tax preparation and audits
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting
- Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, or distribution industries
- Experience with SOS Inventory, NetSuite, or ERP systems
- Knowledge of sales tax compliance and multi-channel sales operations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
