Accountant/Bookkeeper

About Us

Teza Doors & Windows is one of the fastest-growing manufacturers and distributors of premium aluminum doors and windows in California. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at our Van Nuys headquarters. This position will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and supporting the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, merchant accounts, and company transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management
  • Process and review customer payments, refunds, and chargebacks
  • Manage sales tax reporting and compliance
  • Work closely with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost accounting
  • Reconcile inventory transactions between QuickBooks Online (QBO) and SOS Inventory
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Support external CPA and auditors during tax preparation and audits
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

QualificationsRequired

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, or distribution industries
  • Experience with SOS Inventory, NetSuite, or ERP systems
  • Knowledge of sales tax compliance and multi-channel sales operations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • In-person position located in Van Nuys, CA

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
