Join our esteemed hospitality group in a pivotal role within our corporate team. We are seeking a proactive individual to oversee our accounting operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies across all hotels. This position will collaborate closely with senior executives, driving operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
- A corporate position to oversee the overall accounting operations of the company
- Knowledge of hospitality account systems, other accounting programs, and proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ensuring all operating hotels are submitting accurate information on daily basis
- Ensure corporate policies and reporting are being followed by all hotels
- Accurate record keeping of projects under construction and in pipeline
- Must have solid knowledge of double entry and accounting concepts
- Take lead in ensuring monthly accounts, bank reconciliations etc are completed by 7th of the following month
- Review monthly supply orders before sending for approvals
- Accurate submission of weekly payments to vendors
- Establish and maintain employee benefit programs, as well as annual hotel insurances
- Running payroll reports every two weeks after verifying accuracy and authenticity
- Build working relationships with companies and vendors
- Be involved in planning and coordinating of Property Improvement Plans of existing properties
- Offshore accounting team is in place to provide support
- Reporting to senior management of the group; working along with director of operations and vice president.
- The position may require some traveling within 2 hours driving distance
