Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join the ETC team to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and will assist with daily accounting tasks, financial record-keeping, payroll processing using Paycom, and month-end close activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Process payroll using Paycom software, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Maintain documentation of financial processes and internal controls
  • Assist in improving accounting systems and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
