Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative support Manager to join our small business office. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily administrative and accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, operational reporting, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Accounting & Administrative Support
- Oversee and able to perform administrative and accounting duties such as accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, payroll processing, operational reporting, and general office support.
- Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support the owner and senior leadership with accounting tasks, bonus tracking, operational reports, insurance management, and more.
- Improve workflows, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise administrative employees, support training, and evaluate performance.
- Manage and mentor administrative staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward change and contribute to a strong team culture.
Communication, Problem Solving & Time Management
- Communicate effectively, think critically, and solve problems with professionalism and initiative.
- Prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, or finance, or years of real-world accounting/finance experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; proficient with typing and 10-key pad. Experience with business accounting software.
- Effective communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in all work.
- Ability to work independently while staying results and goal oriented.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and develop leadership skills.
- Professional, upbeat, energetic, and dependable.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
