Accounting and Data Analyst

Job description:

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: $40,000-$60,000 per year, based on experience

Schedule:

  • Hours are 8 AM – 5 PM CST, Shift schedules will be determined separately.
  • Monday to Friday
  • In Office

Role Description

Financial Operations & Invoicing Support

  • Assist with invoicing processes, including data validation and preparation of billing details
  • Work directly with the CFO to confirm accuracy of financial information
  • Support reconciliation efforts and ensure alignment between internal data and financial outputs
  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Build, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets to support financial and operational reporting
  • Develop client-facing savings reports using claims and pricing data
  • Identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improved accuracy or efficiency
  • Ensure data integrity across multiple internal systems and reports

Quality Assurance & Data Integrity

  • Perform QA checks on financial, claims, and reporting data
  • Validate outputs to ensure accuracy prior to internal and external distribution
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and workflows
  • Assist with ad hoc data audits and special projects

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with Patient Services, Operations, and Leadership teams
  • Respond to internal requests for data, reporting, and financial insights
  • Provide general analytical and operational support as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–4+ years of experience in finance, accounting support, data analysis, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data organization required)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage and organize large datasets
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with leadership (including CFO)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience working with financial data, invoicing, or claims data
  • Exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, or consulting environments
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or CRM systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
