JOB SUMMARY: Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant will be working alongside the Accounting Manager to assist with billing of orders, freight billing, and other related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong attention to detail, and have demonstrated experience with a variety of general bookkeeping functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Daily billing on all shipped orders
  • Process customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Assist with credit card processing
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three (3) years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Accounting software, and MS Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize projects & manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • A team-player with a positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
