Accounting Assistant

Duties
- Manage accounts receivable and payable using QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assist with daily accounting tasks including entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Support the preparation of financial and budget reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and budgeting activities.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Manage the renewal of different insurance policies and troubleshoot utilities bills.
- Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records.
- Support bookkeeping activities by reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
Experience
- Previous office experience with a strong background in administrative support or clerical roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools.
- Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a dental or medical receptionist or personal assistant is beneficial but not required; relevant office management or bookkeeping experience is valued.
