Accounting Assistant

Fathom Entertainment Company Description : Fathom is a recognized leader in the entertainment industry as one of the top distributors of content to movie theaters in North America, including live events. Fathom delivers a wide variety of programming and experiences to U.S. and global cinema audiences. This is a hybrid role in which Monday and Friday are remote and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are onsite in Greenwood Village.

General Role Description : This is an entry-level accounting role supporting monthly billing in a full-time hybrid schedule (remote Mon/Fri; onsite Tue–Thu). The position works closely with the Accounting Director and owns recurring invoice tasks including collecting and filing box office reports, updating internal systems and spreadsheets, invoicing, and reconciliations between systems and alternate sources of information. Must be detail oriented and highly organized.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Responsible for processing approximately 500-600 accounts receivable invoices per month, ranging from an average of $5-$10 million in revenue monthly
• Works with customers to receive box office reports and enter revenue information into the billing system
• Updates internal records to reflect all completed invoicing
• Draws from multiple sources of data to extract, organize, analyze, and report on various projects and revenue related topics

Qualifications :

• Entry level experience in general accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business software. Must be proficient in Excel.
• Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and analytical skills
• Must be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously with fierce attention to detail
• Ability to perform well in a team-oriented environment
• The ideal candidate doesn't mind repetitive work and is able to follow very specific instructions

Salary Range : Negotiable, $25/hour minimum+ bonus potential depending on experience
