Flooring America Fairfax is currently looking for an experienced, results-driven Accounting Clerk II in our Fairfax, VA location. Position: Full-time, Monday to Friday in our Fairfax showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports
• Organize financial records and documents
• Performing administrative tasks
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Prepare for audits
• Processing remote cash deposits
• Posting payments
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with month-end close processes
• Tracking invoices, receipts, and purchase orders
• Reconciling credit card statements

What We’re Looking For:

• 5 years working in an office environment with accounting responsibilities
• 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Desktop
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting
• A firm understanding of Microsoft Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional time management abilities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and desire to exceed expectations
• Ability to work independently and take on new and unfamiliar tasks when necessary
• A strong work ethic
• Must be reliable

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $80,000
