Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with accounts receivable and payable processes. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple financial tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirements:
This position requires working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in-office. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent, on-time attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process refunds accurately and in a timely manner
- Collect payments from saved customer payment methods once balances become due
- Post and reconcile payments to customer accounts
- Process and manage purchase orders
- Assist with inventory tracking and management
- Handle accounts payable (A/P), including bill payment and data entry
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with account reconciliations and reporting as needed
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding billing and payments
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience with accounting software QuickBooks is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft products
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
