Human Resources/ Accounting Assistant

Local Manufacturing Company seeking a Human Resource /Payroll position. Accounting Assistant to Provide administrative support by performing basic bookkeeping tasks, accuracy and timely completion of accounting functions, essentially acting as a key support role in the accounting department.

Responsibilities include, Cbiz or a payroll service, Human Resources. Maintain employee and company documents and records, manage employee and business insurance and benefits. Adherence to confidentiality of sensitive information and professional ethics.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge in accounting software (Sage a plus)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong Excel and word knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Have the ability to coordinate multiple projects.

· Works well with others. Team player

· Good communication skills.

Education and experience:

Human Resource experience/ knowledge. Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.

  • Entry-level accounting experience is beneficial.
  • High school diploma.
