About Us

Town & Country Property Management is a growing community association management company dedicated to providing exceptional financial and operational services to homeowners associations throughout South Carolina. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Staff Member to join our team and support the financial management of multiple HOA communities.

Position Summary

This entry-level accounting position is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a professional and supportive environment. The Accounting Staff Member will assist with various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and excellent service to our HOA clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple HOA accounts
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and reports
  • Code, review, and approve vendor invoices and bills
  • Assist with accounts payable processing
  • Prepare detailed accounting reports and analyses for designated HOA communities
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with budgeting and year-end financial processes
  • Provide accounting support to community managers and board members as needed
  • Complete additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Accounting coursework or relevant office experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with property management or HOA accounting software is a plus
  • Experience with AppFolio software is preferred but not required
