What Success Looks Like (First 6 to 12 Months):
· Successfully take ownership of a portfolio of clients with minimal quality issues
· Improve turnaround time on financial reporting
· Build strong, trusted relationships with your clients
· Communicate proactively with both clients and internal team members
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, analyze, and review financial records, reports, and general ledger activity for a diverse client base
· Perform full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations
· Manage month end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
· Deliver accurate financial statements and QuickBooks write ups on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis
· Maintain organized workpapers and ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures
· Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies through detailed account analysis
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and interim financial projections to support tax planning and business strategy
· Communicate directly with clients as a primary point of contact, providing timely updates, insights, and support
· Build and strengthen client relationships through proactive service and ongoing check ins
· Manage client expectations while delivering a consistently high level of service
· Collaborate with internal teams and keep leadership informed on client status, needs, and project progress
· Continue developing knowledge of firm services and identify opportunities to expand advisory offerings
· Contribute to a high performance team environment and support overall firm growth
Qualifications:
· BS in Accounting
· 1 to 5 years of public accounting experience
· Experience with full cycle accounting preferred
· Strong communication and writing skills
· Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines
· Comfortable using technology and open to AI driven tools
