Job Description:
We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cheque posting accounting entries, payroll processing, and performing various accounting duties with precision. We’re looking for someone who is a quick learner, has the ability to take direction, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
If you have 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting, possess a high level of intelligence (IQ), and can work with a high level of attention to detail, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Cheque Posting & Accounting Entries: Accurately process and record cheque transactions into accounting systems.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring all entries are made accurately and timely.
- General Accounting Support: Assist the accounting team with various tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining financial records.
- Report Generation: Prepare and generate accounting reports as requested by management.
- Other Administrative Tasks: Perform additional duties as required, supporting the finance team in daily operations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting or related fields.
- Skills:
- High level of attention to detail and precision.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work with accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
- Personal Attributes:
- Confident, reliable, and able to take orders and follow directions.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
