Job Description – Part-time Accounting Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting
department. This role will primarily be responsible for processing cash receipts and following up
on past-due balances, along with other general accounting tasks. This position is ideal for a
person who enjoys keeping things organized, and prides themselves on accuracy.
Duties & Responsibilities
Open and distribute incoming mail
Process cash receipts and troubleshoot discrepancies
Email monthly customer statements, and follow up on past-due balances
Assist with expense reports and managing receipts
Assist with other tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in AR, AP or accounting support role preferred
Experience with ERP systems preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes
Strong attention to detail, and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Highly organized, reliable and trustworthy
Communicates professionally with customers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Work Location, Schedule & Expected Hours
Onsite
15 – 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling
Monday – Friday between 8:00am – 5:00pm
The duties listed above may change based on evolving business needs.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
