Accounting Clerk
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team and support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for invoicing, collections, and providing backup support for accounts payable, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong customer/vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Manage collections activities, including following up on outstanding balances and resolving discrepancies
- Provide backup support for accounts payable, including invoice entry and vendor communication
- Maintain accurate records and assist with account reconciliations
- Support general accounting functions and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong Excel skills required, including ability to work with spreadsheets and data efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment

Pay: $27.00 - $30.30 per hour

Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)
- billing and collections: 2 years (Required)
- Accounts payable: 1 year (Preferred)
