As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position will work out of our Anchorage office after an initial training/probationary period at our Palmer facility. The ideal applicant will be detail-oriented, hardworking, and have experience in a related field.

Prepare weekly payables batch and process payments.

Enter invoices, review vendor statements, and reconcile receipts to corporate credit cards.

Manage vendor information, correspondence, and prepare credit applications for purchasing.

Assist with annual 1099 preparations and filings.

Enter and apply account payments, collect delinquent payments, and send out monthly statements.

Manage customer correspondence from AR email.

Manage retail cash deposits, HQ petty cash and make bank deposits when needed.

Prepare quarterly review of customer account limits & discounts

Prepare Biweekly and Monthly payrolls for processing and complete post processing tasks.

Set up new employees, make changes to deductions, and time & attendance policies per direction from HR.

Assist with employee inquiries (copies of W2 or paystubs).

Scanning and electronic filing.

Assist with company event preparation and planning (cookouts, holiday parties, etc.).

Office and administrative tasks as assigned (ex. mail processing, answering accounting calls, shredding).

Associates degree or higher with focus in accounting preferred.

2+ years of accounting experience preferred.

Experience utilizing Microsoft products, Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, or other accounting software.
