Accounting Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and ensure timely invoicing for accounts receivable
  • Handle all hotel deposits in accordance with Avion Hospitality Standards
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and payments
  • Assist the Property Accountant with accounts payable administration
  • Support guest relations by addressing billing inquiries and resolving discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and guest service

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of hotel accounting procedures and guest relations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting or hospitality certifications are a plus
