We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounting cum Sales Executive to join our team at an apparel brand. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both accounting and sales tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to the growth and profitability of the brand. Your role will be dynamic and require a combination of accounting expertise, sales acumen, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Accounting:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis on a regular basis.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with the finance team to support audits and financial reviews.
Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and policies.
Sales:

Engage with customers and provide exceptional service to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
Assist customers in selecting appropriate apparel products, providing product information and recommendations.
Process sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure product availability.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare sales reports, including sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
Generate financial reports and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and financial performance.
Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales and financial goals.
Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance overall team performance.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting and sales roles, preferably in the retail or apparel industry.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
