Accounting Department Assistant

Wholesale and logistics company in Doral, Florida is seeking a full time, experienced Accounting Assistant. Ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Attention to detail and accuracy required. This position requires the candidate to work well in a team environment on multiple clients and have excellent communication skills. Must have QuickBooks and MS Office (Outlook: Excel and Word) experience. Magaya Explorer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
· Process invoices, daily transactions and expenses

· Perform administrative support functions

· Update and maintain accounting database with data entry and reports

· Handle monthly and quarterly reports

· Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank accounts

· Communicate with customers via phone and email as necessary

· Support administrative duties as necessary

Qualifications:
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must

· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
· 1-2 years of experience working in accounting
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and QuickBooks

· Highly detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time
·Annual Salary: $42,000 to $45,000

Experience:
· Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
· Accounts payable: 1 year (Must)
· Accounts Receivable: 1 year (Preferred)
· QuickBooks: 1 year (Must)
· Payroll: 1 year (Preferred)

· Fully Office attendance
