Job Purpose:
Assist/coordinate the effective collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting of district data.
Tasks:
- Complete monthly bank account reconciliations
- Prepare annual budgets, oversight of actual transactions, and provide ongoing management recommendations
- Book receipts, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and capital assets
- Process semi-monthly payables, payrolls, and payroll deductions
- Process monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll and payables reconciliations including contract reconciliations, payroll tax reconciliations, federal forms (941, 1099, and W-2)
- Prepare monthly status reports with accurate actual and projected transactions
- Assist with long-term financial planning
- Report Education Management Information System (EMIS) financial and staff data
- Assist with managing and compliance of federal, state, and private grants
- Ensure adherence to established board policies
Requirements:
- Clean background checks (FBI and BCI)
- Working towards Degree
- Excellent listening, written, and oral communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Possess knowledge and experience in use of computer software programs, especially Microsoft Excel
- Professional etiquette to staff and clients

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
