Position Overview

The Accounting & Finance Manager leads the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial control across all entities. The role is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle in Zoho Books, overseeing reporting, cash flow, landlord statements, vendor payments, and payroll.

This position plays a key role in maintaining financial structure, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with Bahrain VAT and regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full accounting cycle in Zoho Books, including recording income, expenses, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Prepare financial reports, monitor cash flow, track performance, and provide regular financial insights
  • Prepare and send monthly landlord statements, track balances, and respond to landlord financial inquiries
  • Manage vendor invoices, payments, payroll, and operational expenses
  • Maintain organised financial documentation including invoices, receipts, and supporting records
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain financial regulations, VAT requirements, and government reporting
  • Manage and optimise Zoho Books setup, structure, and financial workflows across Palm Stays and its related entities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are considered a strong advantage
  • Bahraini National
  • Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance
  • Strong experience using Zoho Books (Mini 2 years)
  • Experience managing full accounting cycle independently
  • Strong organizational, accuracy, and financial management skills
  • Professional communication skills with ability to coordinate with landlords, vendors, and internal team
