Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting / Finance Manager – Chinese Speaker to join our team at a leading real estate brokerage. In this role, you will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while managing cash flow, tax compliance, and team performance. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting the company’s strategic goals and ensuring strong financial health in the fast-paced real estate industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability.
• Prepare detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Provide senior management with timely, accurate financial reports and insights.

Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure operational efficiency.
• Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, and financial risk mitigation.
• Optimize investment of surplus funds and refine financing strategies to support growth.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant tax regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants regarding compliance and tax planning.
• Implement and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial fraud.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and senior management to align financial and business objectives.

Real Estate Brokerage Focus

• Track and reconcile property transactions, commissions, and agent payments accurately and on time.
• Analyze profitability of projects, property portfolios, and brokerage deals to support performance improvement.
• Assist management in structuring investment opportunities and strategic partnerships to maximize returns.

RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• 2 years in a managerial role within the real estate or property industry is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of financial modeling, accounting principles, real estate transactions, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (experience with real estate systems is a plus).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Languages

• Fluent in Chinese (mandatory) and English.
