Accounting Intern

Overview

The region is also home to over 25 wineries, breweries and cideries.

The Accounting Intern will support the Finance team with daily accounting functions, reporting, and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment, offering exposure to financial operations, reconciliations, and internal processes while developing practical accounting skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and income audit processes
• Help organize, review, and communicate vendor invoicing and corporate expenses.
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Package and mail receiving organization and communication.
• Assist with collection and reporting of daily revenue data.
• Help maintain daily cost credit entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required.

However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and take initiative

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
• Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
