ACCOUNTING MANAGER

📌 Role Overview

An Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing accounting teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management

• Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll)
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and transactions
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop and manage company budgets
• Monitor expenses and financial performance
• Provide financial forecasts and analysis to management

3. Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide accounting staff
• Assign tasks and review team performance
• Provide training and support to junior accountants

4. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP)
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections

5. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare financial reports for senior management
• Analyze profit/loss, cash flow, and cost control
• Identify financial risks and suggest improvements

6. Tax & Regulatory Work

• Ensure timely tax filing and compliance
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
• Stay updated with financial regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA)
• 5–10+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Leadership and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP standards
