This new Accounting Manager position will directly support efforts to ensure the capital needed to fund our programs - programs that help many North Dakotans find a place to call home. Our new Accounting Manager will join a small team of accountants and our overall team of 55+ employees that all work to support housing needs across North Dakota. Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and record journal entries related to bond accounting.
· Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements.
· Support investor accounting functions and ensure accurate, timely reporting for agency-serviced loans.
· Perform and review reconciliations.
· Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and reports for internal and external reviews.
· Maintain a current working knowledge of applicable accounting requirements and financial statement reporting and disclosure requirements.
· Aid in special projects or other financial activities, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and five years of professional accounting or financial auditing experience. A master’s degree in accountancy or Certified Public Accountant license may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
The successful candidate must also complete the interview process, reference checks and background check.

The successful candidate must reside within the State of North Dakota. Preference will be given to applicants currently located in, or willing to relocate to, the Bismarck area. While our preference is for this position to be based in our Bismarck office, a remote work arrangement within North Dakota may be considered for a highly qualified candidate, subject to agency approval. Occasional travel to the Bismarck office will be required for meetings, training, and collaboration.

Pay: $6,400.00 - $9,600.00 per month
