Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AR/AP Representative to join our team in an in-office role. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and administrative experience, be process-driven, proactive, and capable of managing multiple lines of business simultaneously. This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has extensive experience using QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

Process vendor invoices, payments, customer billing, and collections

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor/customer accounts

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry

Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances

Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and expense tracking

Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records

Identify process improvements and help implement efficient accounting procedures

Support multiple business entities and prioritize tasks effectively

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience using QuickBooks Online required

5+ years of AR/AP or general accounting experience preferred

Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Process-driven mindset with the ability to improve workflows

Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently

Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of business simultaneously

Strong communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
