We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting processes. Responsibilities – Accounting Manager

• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, journal entries, and double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and cash flow analysis to support sound financial management.
• Supervise internal audits, regulatory reporting, and external audits to uphold transparency and accountability.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff by providing guidance on technical accounting issues such as Wills, trusts & estate law, governmental accounting standards, and non-profit accounting practices.
• Utilize accounting software such as SAP to streamline financial operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial report writing to inform strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax experience initiatives and ensure accurate account analysis for various projects.

Qualifications – Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in public accounting or corporate finance roles with a focus on financial accounting and technical accounting standards.
• Proven expertise in governmental accounting practices as well as non-profit sector accounting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks,, Xero, or comparable platforms; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
• Strong understanding of payroll management systems like Paycom or ADP along with benefits administration processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through mentoring while fostering professional growth in technical areas like account reconciliation, journal entries, accrual accounting, and bookkeeping.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial concepts and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Strong understanding of internal controls related to debits & credits, balance sheet management, cash flow analysis, and audit procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
