United Recovery & Remarketing (UR2) is seeking an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to join our growing corporate team in Collierville, Tennessee. As Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a multi-entity, privately held organization, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, develop staff, and partner with leadership to drive business success. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
Manage the monthly and annual close processes for multiple entities.
Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis and operational insights to leadership.
Multi-Entity Accounting Oversight
Oversee accounting operations for multiple affiliated companies, including intercompany transactions and consolidations.
Coordinate entity-specific reporting, tax support, and compliance requirements.
ERP Transition & Systems Leadership
Serve as a key accounting lead in the transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite.
Support ongoing NetSuite optimization, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives after implementation.
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
Allocate workload and ensure department deadlines are consistently achieved.
Audit, Compliance & Controls
Coordinate annual tax preparation support.
Assist leadership with special projects as needed.
Salary is negotiable based on previous experience and skills.
Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Experience participating in ERP implementations or major accounting system transitions strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, and ERP system administration.
Leadership Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with multi-location or multi-division organizations.
Prior involvement in ERP conversion projects, particularly QuickBooks to NetSuite migrations.
