Status Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven In-House Accountant to join our growing corporate team and play a vital role in the financial success of our expanding portfolio of 25+ hotel properties. Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day accounting functions for 25+ hotel properties.

· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and general ledger accounts.

· Monitor property revenue/collection, expenses, and profitability metrics.

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

· Review accounts payable and receivable processes for accuracy and timeliness.

· Ensure proper coding and recording of all financial transactions.

· Coordinate with hotel management teams to resolve financial discrepancies.

· Support annual audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements.

· Prepare ownership and management financial reports and presentations.

· Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

· 3+ years of accounting experience, with hospitality or multi-unit accounting preferred.

· Experience managing multiple entities or locations.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· Experience with hotel accounting systems is a plus.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
